The surgeons of GLCVS offer state of the art therapies for a wide variety of cardiac, vascular and thoracic surgical diseases.

Our Cardiac interests include coronary artery bypass grafting using off-pump/beating heart methods, treatment of atrial fibrillation including the Cox Maze-3 procedure for chronic atrial fibrillation and the EPICOR (highly focused ultrasound) procedure for the less invasive treatment of intermittent atrial fibrillation, heart valve repair and replacement procedures, and the surgical treatment of heart failure by left ventricular remodeling (Dor procedure).

Vascular interests include the treatment of aortic pathologies including thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms and dissections, conventional open surgical treatments of vascular pathologies and endovascular methods to treat the majority of vascular diseases, including carotid artery blockages, using minimally invasive methods.

We use the VenaCure laser treatment for curing varicose veins of the legs in an outpatient setting.

Thoracic problems we treat include surgical approaches for a wide variety of diseases of the lungs, esophagus, chest wall, and trachea.
