Brad E. Vazales, MD, FACS

Attended medical school at the University of Southern California, San Diego, CA then completed the General Surgery and the Thoracic Surgery Residency Training Program at Washington University, St. Louis, MO. He practiced in Lancaster, PA for 12 years before relocating to Petoskey in 1999.

Dr. Vazales has particular interest in off-pump bypass surgery (avoiding use of the heart-lung machine for CABG), surgical correction of atrial fibrillation, heart valve repairs, percutaneous treatments of blood vessel diseases and aneurysms, endoscopic procedures to treat lung disease, and many new and innovative approaches designed to make surgery safer and recovery faster.
